Digital printing refers to methods of printing from a digital-based image directly to silk fabric,it is kind of like printing on paper,the designs will be sent to printing machine computer after color adjustment finished,digital printing has a higher cost per meter than more traditional offset printing methods, but this price is usually offset by avoiding the cost of all the technical steps required to make printing plates,It also allows for on-demand printing,low minimum quantity, short turnaround time.
What digital printing equipment we have ?
The major printing machines we use for natural fabrics are HOMER HM1800-K8,this printing machine can well present 600x1800 dpi image on silk scarf, print 150-180 square meters per hour,with our special sizing agent,the penetration can be good,back side color can reach 60%-80% of the front side color,for the polyester, viscose fabrics,we use HOMER HM3200R,can reach 600x1800dpi too with environmental and harmless ink certificated by KYOCERA and INTERTEK.
Screen Printing- What is screen printing ?
Screen printing is a printing technique whereby a mesh is used to transfer ink onto a substrate, except in areas made impermeable to the ink by a blocking stencil. A blade or squeegee is moved across the screen to fill the open mesh apertures with ink.
